I'm BACK! part2

Okay, so again, I have ignored this blog for the Nth time. I've been telling myself that I'll try to visit this every once in a while to post some of the important events that I want to look back to, like, 30 or 40 years from now? But then, a lot of things keep me from doing so. Things like...uhmm...well, I'm trying to find a valid excuse here.

Anyway, my last 2 posts are way back 2010 & 2011. Now it's 2012, again trying to get back to blogging. A brand new me has come to life. I am now in a new chapter, starting a new episode of my so-called historia de la vida (life story).

Again, I'm not sure how far I can go with this blogging thing but I sure am trying to make it work consistently this time. Hoping I could write about the randomness in my daily life. From food to fashion to places and faces I have been and seen. Practically about anything and everything, after all, it's called the random blog :)

I'm BACK!

It's been a long while since I had time to open this blog. It was almost impossible for me to remember my password.

So much has happened in my life, too bad I was not able to update this blog on my whereabouts. But now I'm here, and I hope to be active again in.

I actually wanted to start a new blog but I thought about my previous posts which are of importance to me, I don't want to put them to waste. They remind me of how I used to be and how I became who I am now.

So here's the same old haven with a new twist...hope to really find time for this.

So glad to be BACK!

Holidays @ Dubai

End of the year holidays are the most awaited part of the year for me. It's the season to be jolly they say, but what if I have to spend it away from the place and people I used to spend it with? At first I was afraid, I was petrified :) never imagined how to go through with it without my family. But as I always say, I have to grow up and mature. Sooner or later I still have to face this so better go for it while I can. Moving away from home was hard enough, spending the Holidays away from my family was more difficult. And yet, I still went though it with a smile on my face and in my heart. My foster family here in Dubai played a great part in helping me cope with my melancholic moments. And of course, I have Baki who always find ways to make everything easier for me here.

It's a good thing that I found a fine place to stay here with nice people. The Christmas party was great, the New Year's party was equally good. It almost felt like I was back home. The little Christmas tree was there, the games & prizes, exchange of gifts, the yummy food, the ever famous videoke, and of course the happy faces that made both parties complete.

It's not so bad after all. Though I still miss my folks in Davao, I'm still glad to know that they also had a great time spending the holidays there like we used to. For this year's Christmas, I hope I'll be able to join them again. Still have to wait longer, but at least I have something to look forward to.
