The Engagement Photoshoot

I love photo shoots, so when I got the chance to have one with a professional photographer, I was so thrilled! For someone who considers herself a "frustrated model" like me, it was such an exciting experience. Plus the fact that it was actually our Engagement Photo shoot made it more fun and memorable.

Almost 10 months after, I still can feel the awkward excitement i had over the chessy mushy poses we did. Curious about how the photos turned out? Scroll down and enjoy :)

First location: somewhat long-and-winding-road with fun
 and carefree shots.

Next spot: Pool side with sexy & a bit daring pose.

Next spot: At the gazebo with sweet sexy kiss pose.

Still at the gazebo with subtle mushy shots.
Last stop: After sundown under the rain.
Wet & cold but so worth it.

Let the Flashback Begin!

So much has happened since the last time I intently posted something on this blog. I always had the desire and eagerness to write but some things get in the way; lazy bones, crazy mood, impassive mind, time shortage, and all sorts of inconceivable excuses.

This has been my sort of online journal with all the relevant turning points in my life posted. And as far as I can remember, the last major episode here was like more than 2 years back when I celebrated my first Christmas Holidays away from home.

Now it's time to get these brain cells and hand muscles to work. I'll be starting the long flashback of memories with this first post about something I refer to more of like "The Agreement" almost a year back.

Now to get things back on track, the new episode comes as I was surprised by a major proposal almost a year ago. It was nothing like a "knock-me-off-my-feet moment" nor a "I'm-on-my-knees-so-please-say-yes scene"  you usually see in movies, nothing fancy as I always describe it.Actually, it was more like a comedy show with a crazy couple. But the mere fact that I heard him formally tell my parents about us getting married on our scheduled vacation made me realize that, well, it's finally going to happen. We joked about it many times before, and the overseas call home was the sign that it's serious this time. It felt awkwardly funny but I was seriously pressured thinking how to get through all the overseas bride issues I have to face.

Two extremely valuable gifts in terms of  meaning and importance.

I'm BACK! part2

Okay, so again, I have ignored this blog for the Nth time. I've been telling myself that I'll try to visit this every once in a while to post some of the important events that I want to look back to, like, 30 or 40 years from now? But then, a lot of things keep me from doing so. Things like...uhmm...well, I'm trying to find a valid excuse here.

Anyway, my last 2 posts are way back 2010 & 2011. Now it's 2012, again trying to get back to blogging. A brand new me has come to life. I am now in a new chapter, starting a new episode of my so-called historia de la vida (life story).

Again, I'm not sure how far I can go with this blogging thing but I sure am trying to make it work consistently this time. Hoping I could write about the randomness in my daily life. From food to fashion to places and faces I have been and seen. Practically about anything and everything, after all, it's called the random blog :)
