Let the Flashback Begin!

So much has happened since the last time I intently posted something on this blog. I always had the desire and eagerness to write but some things get in the way; lazy bones, crazy mood, impassive mind, time shortage, and all sorts of inconceivable excuses.

This has been my sort of online journal with all the relevant turning points in my life posted. And as far as I can remember, the last major episode here was like more than 2 years back when I celebrated my first Christmas Holidays away from home.

Now it's time to get these brain cells and hand muscles to work. I'll be starting the long flashback of memories with this first post about something I refer to more of like "The Agreement" almost a year back.

Now to get things back on track, the new episode comes as I was surprised by a major proposal almost a year ago. It was nothing like a "knock-me-off-my-feet moment" nor a "I'm-on-my-knees-so-please-say-yes scene"  you usually see in movies, nothing fancy as I always describe it.Actually, it was more like a comedy show with a crazy couple. But the mere fact that I heard him formally tell my parents about us getting married on our scheduled vacation made me realize that, well, it's finally going to happen. We joked about it many times before, and the overseas call home was the sign that it's serious this time. It felt awkwardly funny but I was seriously pressured thinking how to get through all the overseas bride issues I have to face.

Two extremely valuable gifts in terms of  meaning and importance.
